Something that is fungible - March 27th, 2010

I don’t have time at the moment to write much so to keep you occupied here’s one that made me chuckle a while ago.

It’s true, when i don’t sleep it turns into Squires’ blog. Random inside jokes. One-liners that probably require explanation even for the people involved. Huge chunks cut and pasted from another website. Unexplained and un-related lyrics to songs nobody else knows or even cares about… it’s great, at least you know you can have a day off at some day mate and i can cover for you!

Before i start my latest series of rants, this is not my fabled ‘next blog entry’. That would require time, patience and dedication of which i have next to none of at the moment.

Where do we all belong? - December 31st, 2009

hmm what happened since the last time i wrote…We scored some tickets to another festival thanks to Phong’s (ex) missus! Never knew much about the Southside Festival (fucking hell MTV is playing New Kids on the Block). Squires went there last year or the year before and said the facilities weren’t that good so i wasn’t sure what to expect. Dude it’s the PG13 version of Rock Festivals! I don’t think you’ll ever want to go to Rock am Ring then.

I still call Australia home - December 24th, 2009

Merry Christmas all!

I had to slightly edit this one because of some comments leading up to the US election, for no other reason than they didn’t make sense now in the timeline. Oh, and i was in Australia when i wrote this one so just pretend im on holidays there and not in the UK.

OK so speaking as an Australian in Australia…albeit for a short bit of time, here are some observations / words of advice…

Whatever floats your boat - December 17th, 2009

Ok so i can’t be arsed writing over my holidays so i’ve set up a few old ones to publish every now and then to give you the impression that i care about you and want to keep my fanbase happy. I’m just that kind of guy.

I haven’t had a chance to sit down recently and put my thoughts into a more coherent verse, so here are a collection of random tidbits.

something something something namedrop - December 5th, 2009

How you finding the new layout? This will surely piss off Squires who had bookmarked the blog page. Sucks to be you mate! Seriously comments welcome. I’m not sure about the ‘Recent comments’ section on the bottom right.

Ok i have another post written but i’m still deciding if i should post it, so in the interim here’s another old Xanga one.

I saw Johhny Cash this morning. He’d lost a bit of weight and turned German but he seemed well…

Passive-aggressive whatnow? - October 7th, 2009

It’s strange. I’ve been waiting for the opportunity to try my dormant wit out, yet today i feel like i could have said something on numerous occassions but find myself restraining…myself. Must be the weather or something.
Here’s something i wrote a long time ago about reading between the lines…

A priest, a hooligan and a bewildered Aussie walk into Old Trafford… - August 26th, 2009

I’m not finding things as funny any more as i continue to do an impersonation of someone that doesn’t care.
Another from the old Xanga days. It’s funny to read this actually to see that i once liked Tevez. That was before he tried to be bigger than our team. You can try to go against Fergie if you’re stupid enough Carlito, but don’t think for one second the fans will follow you down that road.

Personal Space – Germans and You - July 17th, 2009

Another import from the classic Xanga days…

I would describe myself as apathetic, except that i don’t possess the incline to subscribe to a doctrine.

Normally this doesn’t cause an issue…except in relationships…however i can see it getting me into trouble. Take the other day for example, when i was pretty much bullied on a train. It could have ended worse i guess.
